The field trip was a great chance to talk with other members as well as see some great birds. It wasn't the best for photographs due to the heat waves and the distance from the birds. But we learned a lot about the area, birds, flowers and habitat. The White Fronted Geese, Swans, Meadow Larks, White Pelicans, and Long Billed Curlew were wonderful to see.
