Bennington Lake Shorebirds and Behind Kmart Birding

I went to Bennington Lake to check out the low water level and the birds that would be feeding there. I saw Long-Billed Dowitchers, a White Pelican, American Wigeon, 2 Western Grebes, Canada Geese and a couple other birds that I'm not sure what they were. The sun came out while the wind was blowing and made for a nice temperature to be out wandering in the mud. I then went behind Kmart. I saw I think the same Pelican, since while at the lake that one flew away. A Kingfisher who was over near the baseball stands and then in a tree. American Wigeon, 3 separate Great Egrets, two of which were in trees and a Northern Flicker. The Kingfisher was really hanging out near the baseball stands and didn't seem to want to move far from them, unsure why that was exactly. The marshy area directly behind Kmart was also packed with Canada Geese of course. Good day Birding.
