Behind Kmart Area again

I've been busy working on various things and haven't been out in awhile. I decided to take a walk behind Kmart to see if any shorebirds were feeding. I saw a Great Egret, Great Blue Heron, and two Yellowlegs out next to each other. Also got a few pictures of a Kingfisher, White Crowned Sparrow, and the always present Killdeer. Some Geese flew over and the Ducks were there as usual, as were the Starlings, Brewers Blackbirds, and Red Winged Blackbirds. It was right at sunset and the lighting turned out well for the Kingfisher in the tree.

The white pelican is so beautiful! Of course all the birds are,but I have soft spot for white pelicans. I saw my first wandering tattler this week. It was beautiful and friendly.lois
