I had a little bit of time while in Sandpoint to take some pictures of birds. I think the Spotted Sandpiper picture turned out the best, it stayed close maybe due to a nest. We had a nest of Osprey near my mom house up on a post of lights, they were noisy but neat to have around. I watched them chase a Bald Eagle out of their area. A Ruffed Grouse walked in front of me on a mountain road, and I took a few pics at our bird feeder. The Barn Owls I took on Dodd Road on my way up to Sandpoint.
