Up Mill Creek I saw the American Dipper, actually I saw two of them. They would jump into the water and catch underwater bugs. Unfortunately my camera wouldn't handle the low light and the pictures turned out a bit grainy. While up there I also saw a couple Kingfishers. I then traveled up to the Tiger Canyon area and didn't find much to photograph. On the way down I found a Crossbill sitting in a tree and it was a wonderful red, it stayed on the branch while shot photos. I then went behind Kmart where I saw 4 Night Herons, one of which was a young one and then two Lesser Yellow Legs and a small plover or sandpiper. I also saw a Long Billed Curlew. It was a great day for birding even though it was like 100 degrees today.
