Bennington Lake Walk and Behind Kmart Again

I walked around Bennington Lake with Mr. Mike and Sue. Before we even got to Bennington Lake we saw two Kingfishers waiting over the water near the fishery. Once there we saw Yellow Breasted Chat, Yellow Warblers, Gray Catbird, Eastern King bird, Spotted Sandpiper, Western Sandpiper, Black Capped Chickadee, and Great Horned Owls. The Great Horned Owls were sleeping near the lone large tree on the creek. The Owls were near some quail who were making a lot of warning sounds which eventually got the owls interested in them. One was perched on a log and the other under a tree in the shade. One owl was a youngster and the other look more like an adult. At Rooks Park we saw a Double Crested Cormorant sitting a ways below the bridge. Behind K-Mart I saw 3 Night Herons, and 1 Great Blue Heron. The picture of the Night Heron in the tree has other birds flying in the background, turned out to be a nice picture.
